Fiann Redd (b. 1992) is a Danish-American multidisciplinary artist working across painting, sound, and film.
Self-taught, his practice is grounded in a direct, physical engagement with image-making, often using found or unconventional materials such as glass, paper, and fabric.
Working between Denmark, France, and the United States, he moves fluidly between figuration and abstraction, allowing forms to emerge, dissolve, and reconfigure through instinctive gesture and repetition.
Redd’s work explores tension, distortion, and inner landscapes shaped by memory and perception. Visceral figures and forms appear unstable, caught in processes of transformation that reflect both personal and collective states of being and trauma.
His paintings function as both autonomous objects and fragments of a larger evolving visual world.
